thewasofshall is a personal book blog run by me, Rachel. I’m a librarian, fangirl, and pop-culture junkie. I really like true crime. Doggie farts warm my heart. Find me online at bloglovin’, booksirens, disqus, goodreads, gravatar, instagram, pinterest, tumblr, twitter, and youtube. You can view my review policy here.
I try to stay within whole number reviews but sometimes a book really needs a ½ ★. S’okay. We’ll live.
★: Didn’t like it. The most redeeming quality of this book was that I was able to finish it.
★★: Meh. There were some parts that I liked but more that I didn’t.
★★★: Middle of the road. Was I glad I read it? Yes. Will I read it again? Probably not. Will I let it live on my bookshelf? Eh.
★★★★: Awesome! The good parts totally overshadowed the bad, and I would most likely put this on my “to buy” list if I didn’t already own it.
★★★★★: Amazing & practically perfect (in every way). If you asked me what my favorite book is, I’d probably say this one.
the was of who now?
The name of my blog comes from a poem by e.e. cummings. Does this make me, like, super artsy??
god decided to invent

when man determined to destroy
himself he picked the was
