Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme was books I loved but never reviewed.
♥ The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton: I actually really enjoyed this and probably could pull together a full review… but I’ll probably just end up with an Instagram post
♥ The City of Mirrors by Justin Cronin: the last book in one of my favorite series (that in itself was a pretty decent read) and I avoided having to pull together my thoughts because reasons
♥ A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab: see The City of Mirrors
♥ Geekerella by Ashley Poston: I liked this book, but I also can’t remember why I didn’t review it (even though it’s stayed with me enough that I want to read the sequels!)
♥ Ms. Marvel, vol. 10: Time and Again by G. Willow Wilson: Time and Again was a solid book on its own, but it so perfectly wrapped up Wilson’s run, too
♥ Origin by Dan Brown: maybe I figured why bother?
♥ She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement by Jodi Kantor & Megan Twohey: I tried to write this review a lot, but then the months piled up and I couldn’t find the words
♥ The Towering Sky by Katharine McGee: this series isn’t the best, but it was still entertaining enough that I made it a priority to finish
♥ Whose Story Is This? Old Conflicts, New Chapters by Rebecca Solnit: reviewing Solnit’s books is always a bit difficult for me
♥ Women in Science: 50 Fearless Pioneers Who Changed the World by Rachel Ignotofsky: this is literally one of my favorite books and I recommend it any chance I get and yet I still haven’t written a review 🤷♀️
