Favorite Media

I spent September reading multiple books (only two of which I actually finished), listening to lots (and lots) of podcasts, and watching exactly one (1) movie. The only rainbow was the newest seasons of The Good Place and American Horror Story coming back on tv. (I think I like horror now? 🤷‍♀️)

Stuff I Added to My Queue

Somehow I didn’t have American Royals on my tbr yet? But not only does it sound great, it’s also been getting pretty decent reviews (and I loved McGee’s Thousandth Floor series).

Book two in Tessa Bailey’s Hot & Hammered seriesLove Her or Lose Her, popped up on NetGalley and of course I was like “yes pls gimme.”

Salt Slow is described as a collection of short stories which “explore women’s experiences in contemporary society, mapped through their bodies” and “blend elements of horror, science fiction, mythology, and feminism.” So, duh this was going on my tbr.

I found a copy of The Sun and Her Flowers on the cheap. Is it past its prime-hype? Probably. But I still wanna read it, y’all.

A new book from Rachel Ignotofsky!!!

Jen featured The Best Laid PlansThe Upside of Falling, and What I Like About You on one of her “Do! Judge a Book by Its Cover” posts and they were so gorgeous I just had to know more.
